Dump concepts for OP Sheik
Up B- vanish explosion is rest
netural B- the needles spike with set knockback similar to shine
side B- deals absurd amounts of damage, otherwise unchanged
ftilt-set knockback
upsmash-sweetspot has rest knockback, sourspot deals laughable damage+ set low knockback to make it higher risk/reward
down throw- speed up the animation, higher initial KB with less KB scaling, making it more usefull against fastfallers, but making the chaingrab last longer on middleweights, and making downthrow -> fair easier to do on lightweights at higher percents
fair- angle without DI equivilant to the current angle with the worst possible DI, knockback equivilant to the strong knee
bair- late hit has strong knockback outward and up, making it good for stage spikes
other things that may or may not be possible,
walljumping refreshes doublejump upb is walljump cancelable

That's going to be hell to be off-stage against

I barely use it, no comment, maybe add a bit of forward movement so she can recover/approach
Also, possibly less ending lag to chain into other moves?

Yeah, late hit would be good since it'd be awkward if it goes up right away due to the animation

Why 3 jumps? Doesnt make much sense logically.
At least falco's jumps had some logical basis seeing as he was a bird.

Sheik doesn't need three jumps. Really, she's already so close to broken that not way too much will need to be changed.
Yeah, she'll get a bunch of changes and stuff, but three jumps seems both too good and too arbitrary.

As a Marth main in melee I don't want to suggest things for this character, however I will but I ask that we do NOT attach a hitbox to the 2nd explosion of sheik's up B. It's not abusable offensively, it just makes edgeguarding more difficult. This takes the brokenness out of the hands of the user and overall creates an "annoyance" more than actually increasing the strength of the character, much less creating depth for her playstyle. Her needles should do more damage in general, especially to shields. Maybe if you hit with a full set the final needle has some knockback attached or something. Make Sheik's nair one frame faster. It's already faster than grabs OoS, maybe just make it one frame lmao. I don't like the idea of ftilt having set knockback, but you know what would be a great(and terrible) move to give set knockback to? Her fair. I think it would make her broken but actually makes her frustrating neutral sequences against certain characters at lower percents actually worse but improves her comboing / gimping game(in my head, I would have to play it / vs it). To compensate give the initial hit on her nair more melee - fair properties with the semi spike and whatnot; can we set a move to be able to autocancel even if it has a hitbox? If it is, I would make it so a perfect SHFFLC nair would auto-cancel. Give the weak nair some cool and potentially janky properties, either make it really weak or make it a stronger hit of melee's initial nair. Bair is retarded, maybe give it a tipper with a darkness effect. Why? Because fuck it, that's why. Have weak uair pull people down. Brawl- style. You can get cool and swag combos and it flows surprisingly well with her kit. Each down smash hit should deal more damage so CCing it feels as bad as melee peach... I'm done suggesting things for this character.
