What do you guys think of something like this (lmao check out this bad quality)? I can position the explosion on the knee later if this is good; I kind of just slapped this together as a proof of concept.

it should be electric though shouldnt it?
if you change it to a fire type move, be sure to lower the amount of hitstun hitlag, as electrical attacks have much greater hitstun than the other elements.(most elements in melee dont actually do anything, but electric attacks always cause above-average hitstun as well as knockback)

It's pretty fly, but shouldn't the explosion only come out when it hits something?
Otherwise I really like it.

Yeah, I can change the explosion into an electrical one; turning Falcon's knee into a fire-type move would likely nerf him if it doesn't have as much hitstun. It's pretty fly, but shouldn't the explosion only come out when it hits something? Otherwise I really like it. I can try to make it work so that it only makes the effect on hit. I'll see what I can come up with

On the topic of the knee, another thing I'd like to add is giving the explosion it's own hitbox, so if playing double/free for all anyone in his general area is gonna feel the pain when he connects. Although it shouldnt kill nearly as early as the actual knee.

Last I checked, graphical effects of this caliber cannot be hit-only.

Last I checked, graphical effects of this caliber cannot be hit-only. RIP that. I still like having graphical effects though. I likely will change it to something else though.

This is all part of an ingenious plan to make Melee Minus a Michael Bay movie Alternatively, (I don't know if this is impossible or simply too much), but you could also change the animation from his two kicks to an animation that has two knees come out one after the other, but still have the same hitbox as the original N-air. Plus a sweet spot would make it all the better
