so these are just general ideas that could be given to any character. basically i had the idea of creating some moves that smash has never seen before:
- Slow startup attack that does no damage or knockback, but breaks shields in 1 hit.
- No knockback or shield damage move that does lots of damage.
- no damage or knockbck move that causes lots of hitstun
- no damage move that does lots of knockback
just some ideas, would need balancing obviously

All those moves would be cool in theory, but change depending on how much range / lag / start-up they have, as well as general things like having half of these as an aerial would never be a good idea since you could ledge cancel it and make it always safe.

I don't know how some of these would be possible. Hitstun is a function of Knockback, which is a function of damage. You can't raise hitstun without raising knockback. The only way I know to do that would be to make a grounded move that hits up into a meteor and give it more knockback. The only way to separate damage from knockback is to just make it do a ton of damage and make it set knockback, which is broken in a way that just isn't fun.

knockback and damage arent quite that related.
knockback growth is based on damage, but you can set a base knockback that ignores damage. moves with set knockback have a certain bkb and no kbg
