Does anyone use Kirby in competitive play?
This is melee MINUS, highly doubt competitive play is the target here as much as Fun is.
Copy Falcon Punch is the shit for the record

Removing the ability to copy is a nerf tbh. There's no reason to arbitrarily nerf anyone, much less Kirby.

What if his Exhale (After inhaling them, then pressing A I believe) shot opponents out a shorter distance and was able to be combo'd into certain moves? Does Exhale have any good benefits as is other than dealing a decent (IIRC) amount of %?

How about making his inhale an insta-kill?
But seriously, how about having him copy the enemy's ability by pressing the B button, but not having him spit the opponent out.

That wouldn't be very fun to play against. Instant kills on semi-easy to land moves sound like a bad idea. If it's something like a falcon punch or fully charged shield breaker, sure. I think it would be better to give Kirby drifting while inhaling, similar to PM 3.0-3.02, and let inhale combo into things by maybe giving the inhale release a lot of hitstun. |
