Suggestions - Neutral B comes out as fast as Fox's lasers, like you did with Mario's fireballs. Also boost the damage to about 6%
- Increased traction, not Luigi level though. Slightly faster falling speed, higher jumps, faster all around.
- Less lag on aerials all around to give a better SHHFL
- Blizzard has a freezing effect on all of the hitboxes instead of only on the closest one. Also does 10% damage and the freezing effect lasts for much longer.
- Tilt damage raised all around by 3%
Thoughts and other suggestions welcomed.

Fixed it for you. Anyways, I would love to see wobbling get removed (win buttons are just unfun in general, especially really long ones), but Ice Climber's everything else get broken to compensate. Id also like to see Nana get a weight increase so it would be harder to take her out first. Besides that, I'd like to see a boost the the recovery game. Maybe SoPo's upB could get a drastic height increase or something.

Have you even played Icies? The freezing effect is literally cancer. Unless you jack up the freezing effect to always KO. ALWAYS.

Hey, here's the design process you need to consider.
Take regular Melee. Just vMelee. And put in code to where there's only 1 Ice Climber.
At that point, you want to legitamately try to balance PoPo to be at atleast Captain Falcon's level of competitive viability.
After you acheive that, put Nana back into the game, and then you have Melee- Ice Climbers.

Yeah, having the up of the solo climber be thrice as high would be cool. Then you still get an advantage from keeping nana, but aren't completely helpless without her.

That sounds really fun. Their gimmick is teamwork though, I feel like it would be more fun to play a bit on the gimmicks of the characters, wouldn't you agree?

Teamwork is cool. See if you have two little midgets that can kill shit on their own, then obviously two little midgets working together is gonna suck for whoever made them angry

What i mean is that instead of buffing them stat wise, it could be great to add on their gimmicks, for example allowing them to desync even more, making nana come back in one way or another, maybe even toggling on and off nana as a CPU.
Though they would need the stat boosts anyway, so that can be done as well.

I like the individually balance idea. The question is how would we do it.
Extra range in general would be useful. They have some hitboxes, but the moves that have hammers should at least hit Roy's length away now with no weak hitboxes. Otherwise every move is useful in their own awkward scenario, adding less start-up / lag and more damage onto moves should do the general trick.
Then we add nana.

Would it be feasible to have a particular button input swap AI/player control for Popo and Nana (maybe solo Up- ? I don't think I really need to elaborate on the applications.

What about making their aerial z become the white rope so it can be used aa a tether to improve their recovery. Their up b is terrible even with both ice climbers since half the time nana bounces off the side of the stage and die and side b barely makes it to the stage without being knocked away again so the tether would be a must.
