I'm really tired, so this will probably be worded terribly.
What if Melee Minus used the same code as being able to play as both PAL and NTSC characters that the 20XX Training Hack Pack has? Basically, by using what is essentially a multiple characters code, it would be possible to have a few different characters for each character. There could be two entirely different Foxes, for example.
I dunno. I was just kind of throwing the idea around in my head. I'm not sure I'm going to do it, but I'm putting it out there as something that would at least be possible.

Seems like a lot more work, but it seems very cool. Reminds me a bit of custom moves in sm4sh where one character has different variations.

This sounds like a really awesome idea. I've always wanted to try playing with PAL characters

I think the idea is to have two different sets of characters to play as for a cast of 52, effectively.

That sounds fun as hell! What if all characters can have one version broken in the brawl minus way and one version broken in a way that seems weird for the character Tank Jigglypuff vs Zoning Ganondorf

Well, I don't think ANYONE would actually mind having more character options. From what I understand though, Fox 1 and Fox 2 couldn't play against each other, right? At least with the current code 20XX uses? Either way, maybe don't have it for the first release, but eventually that'd definitly be really cool to have.

It's like having 2 metas! YOOO, you can make people all fast fallers in one for tech skill city, orJigglypuff zoning practice!

This is starting to sound like it'll be interesting to establish a tier list for... Speaking of, how are you planning on setting up a Back Room or whatever, if you do indeed want that?

Is there a point to a back room with such few people in on the project atm?

Last I checked people working specifically on the project as of right now are scrumpy and I (barthurs?), but I could be terribly wrong.
I am in support for two movesets per character if dittos using different movesets work. SOON™

I think that it would be amazing to have two movesets for each character, but it would take a lot of time. Of course, you should focus on finishing M- with the 26 then releasing 1.0. After that you could work on doubling each character. Just a suggestion, though. I'd totally be up for two movesets in the first release as long as it doesn't delay development longer than a month... because I really can't wait long.
