this conversation is nothing new so i'll just get to the point. how much do you want to break this game?
if the sky's the limit then i have a cute idea for you. give wavelanding (idr the exact name of the state; air dodging into the ground) yoshi's double jump armor. basically you're left with a highly mobile and buffed CC. wavedash c-c-combo-breaker.
luigi's ground game is now godlike. G&W might actually be able to do things. peach's dsmash is even more sickening. most attacks at most percent will simply put you back and standing neutral like a typical CC. well, you get the picture.
another, smaller idea (as long as i'm already posting so i don't make another thread): give falco's lasers a very weak meteor (super scope/fox dair?). easier follow ups and devastating sniping of recovering opponents. and move the spacies fB hitbox in front of them for god's sake.

I don't see this being too fun. Sure grabs still beat this, but it seems... too much? I don't like such a big global change that fundamentally changes how we approach the game. Even in the case where we give Marth 2x range we are playing the same game, just give him more space. Peach pulls out pokeballs instead of turnips, you shouldn't be letting her get free turnips anyway, so now you stress the point to control her. Giving everyone super armor on wavedashing... no amount of melee experience could even remotely prepare me for such a big change.
Not that players shouldn't adapt, but we want to avoid a lot of drastic changes like this that might turn away melee players. This is already going to have a small demographic, at least if mew2king plays this we want to hear "it was fun" and not "OMG you have super armor when you wavedeash, so dumb!!!!1111!!! Fox/ Falco even better, would never play it again"

Gonna have to agree with articanus here. That's way, WAY too broken. It gives some characters (e.g. Luigi) an advantage that would be way too unfair and uncounterable even by M- standards. WD-heavy characters would pretty much be unbeatable because there's nothing you can do about them WDing around.
