Any plans for altering stages?
Textures, layouts, completely different stages, and whatever.
Maybe there should be a seperate forum for that sort of thing?

The Project M pokemon stadium 2 design could be good for a stage overhaul, perhaps Great Bay or Kingdom II

Good opportunity for really dumb original stages. I like Great Bay, but it sucks for playing hazard less. Fun for Mewtwo combos though

Have stage that is only the top left section of Hyrule and one that is only the bottom of it (with the platform on the right).

How about Hyrule with Brinstar's acid? Hilarity ensues.

Please do not change Hyrule's castle. It IS a love or hate kind of thing, but there's plenty of other maps that can easily made up to "tryhard standards", but hyrule castle stands out by just promoting a completely different experience for 4-way battles. Other than that, since the moutain is out of the question either way, why not make it incredibly stupid? Wouldn't you guys want to play with your friends in the ice climber stage that's trying to throw you off with changing directions and slowing/speeding up? Not every match yeah, but don't fall to project M's idea that there's only one way to play.

They still removed a good chunk of them. They removed Hyrule Temple and WarioWare, both of those having very unique gimmicks, to replace them with very generic stages.

Nah, they replaced it with a generic small stage.
They also added the N64 hyrule castle though, and that's awesome.

Temple is definitly in Project M 3.5 dude. They didn't have it in some older version but due to high demand they readded it.
