Please allow me to break this character for you.
STATS -
Double jump should probably be sped up a bit
Short hop's height drastically lowered
Slightly decrease friction
GRAB -
Speed it up a bit, and increase pummel damage to 4 just for the hell of it.
BTHROW -
Increase knockback cuz why not?
UTHROW -
Decrease knockback to allow for much more followup potentials
DTHROW -
Force knockdown, and give ability to spike when right on the ledge similar to Fox's dthrow.
FSMASH -
Reflected projectiles should travel insanely fast.
Maybe apply the sweetspot to the entire hitbox or just make it bigger
USMASH -
GOTTA GO FAST! Turn it into a very good combo tool
DSMASH -
On top of increasing the knockback, should also semi spike aerial opponents, and just have a really low angle on grounded opponents
Also speed up slightly.
DASH ATTACK -
Last spark should hit straight up and slightly towards Ness, with kinda low base knockback and very low knockback scaling, almost garunteed combos from it
UAIR -
Restore 64's head intangibility and increase knockback scaling.
DAIR -
Almost completely remove the start up lag, on top of making it a spike
PK FLASH -
Increase the speed and charge-up rate drastically, to where it hits full explosion in like no time flat.
If possible, make it unreflectable.
PF FIRE -
Increase distance, activate on shield, and make it harder to DI.
PK THUNDER -
When the thunder is destroyed, Ness shouldn't go into helpless state. No more dumbass gimps, and could be used better as a way to cover recovery.
I saw the land cancel projectiles topic, this should probably be included in that list, by having you lose control of the bolt when you land and itll just continue on in whatever direction it was going in, giving Ness a strange but useful option for long range fighting.
PK THUNDER 2 -
Increase the distance, the damage, and decrease the landing lag.
PSI MAGNET -
SHINE!
He might need more than that, but I think it's a good start.
