Decrease startup time Increase fall speed Decrease end lag (or maybe jump cancel?)
To make it a bit wackier, give the move a small, fixed knockback, angled straight down, such that the opponent can be hit repeatedly in one continuous drop.

Here's a SUPER crazy idea, but one that might be awesome.
Less startup, faster fallspeed, less endlag as stated above, and here's the kicker... immune to grabs, but after 2 seconds you start to take 2% per second, and the rock form ends after 10 seconds automatically [if it doesn't do something like that already].

Unless you're aiming to be a little bitch; waiting for the timer to run out, I don't think this is necessary at all. MAYBE it would be "useful" in doubles, but it isn't a significant enough change. I say just give it massive fall speed and very little startup lag combined with a spike and the ability to cancel it somehow, and it would be great.

Considering how useless rock is, is "Give Kirby a [Fox] shine" really that bad an idea? I'd love to see him waveshining people, and do shine stalls, but maybe that's just me... rock could be fast and spike and whatnot, but it just feels weak in any case [or ridiculously dumb I guess].

He doesn't need a shine, that would be a little too OP tbh
