SHFFL neutral B(acon)
F Smash has damage over time burning effect
Shield affixed better to GnW hit/hurtbox so it's as useful as everyone else's
Nair Parachute delays your descent when it's out
Faster throws
Down B reduces GnW's knockback and hitstun when bucket is taken when out, also can absorb % damage for 1 bar in addition to energy projectiles and can be used as long as it has either absorbed damage % or energy projectiles.

Halved endlag on the good aerials to account for no L-canceling.

There's already code out there to give him L-Cancelling so its really a non issue.
Also if you take the random chance out of Hammer it kind of ruins the move's appeal.

Yeah, that what makes Gay&watch the thing he is, the salt following the lucky 9, I don't mind keeping the chance the same Also, bigger hitboxes on hammer Any ideas for a level 10 hammer? Maybe hitbox covers the whole stage/invincibility And maybe a level 0 that has the Jigglypuff(brawl minus version) shield aluha akbar thing

I dont think Hammer needs any additional levels, Just buffs to the levels he has.

How about making side-b not random, but instead make it based on the time since he last used it, eg. the first one is random, (lets say its a 4), and then if he waits 5 seconds (or 2.5 for 0.5 second increments) the next one will be a 9.
Also, make some of the non 9 numbers actually useful. It would be nice if most of them could at least combo into something. For example, 8 gives free follow up into anything (maybe into a 9 at certain %?), maybe lower numbers can be followed up with only certain moves (the lower the number the less available follow ups?), something like that.

Here are some ideas that I think would make Game & Watch much more viable.
- Improved speed on U ad D Smash - Make Neutral-B landing lag cancelled via fast fall into ground (similar to Fox/Falco Lasers) - Remove the weird/very fast falling animation on Aerial Neutral B - Reduce Side-B's startup lag - Improve horizontal recovery of Up-B - Make all of his aerials L-Cancellable - Slightly less traction (more slippery/better wavedash) - More weight - More Gravity - Improved Shield - Improve KO capability of N-Air - Make D-Air Meteor for entire duration - Improve damage of B-Air - Implement Brawl's "Bucket Braking" mechanic - Better range on D-Tilt - Make U-Air hitbox come out much faster (think 1-2 frames) - Have him able to act out of Up B, similar to Project M Also, to be honest, I like the way that the RNG of Judgment works in PM. It would be nice, but not necessary

Ok so I've been goofing around with g&w recently, and I think I have some really nice ideas for him.
Fair comes out frame 1, stays for 20 frames, no ending lag
Bair multi-hits for loads of damage, but has little knock back
Nair comes out super fast, low ending lag (similar to Fair, but with a larger hitbox, and doesn't stay out as long)
uair functions like a jab; it comes out quick (seeing a pattern here?), able to chain into more uairs depending on wether you hit something or not. alternates hit boxes on each frame when you mash attack, but only if you keep hitting your enemy.
Dair comes out a little slower (think Ganon dair), but has no startup animation, making it impossible for your enemies to know WHEN it is coming out, if it even is coming out at all. The dair itself is extremely powerful, with a small meteor smash hitbox on the very tip of the key
Jab has a much larger hit box
F smash has a larger hitbox, and stays out indefinitely; until another input is given (after 20 frames).
Up-Smash has massive KO ability
Down-smash applies an earthquake effect (think DK down B) to grounded enemies near him.
Ftilt comes out faster
Utilt comes out, and completes animation faster.
Dtilt has a slightly longer reach, and comes out a tad faster.
Neutral-B sausages go through platforms, can be fired rapidly, and travel very fast
Side-B acts more like a charge attack than a pure rng move. The longer you go without using it, the higher your number will be.
Up-B doesn't send you into free fall
Down-B comes out frame 1, and can be jump cancelled. Only takes 1 projectile (of any type, not just energy) to full charge.
Of course none of this is very well thought out, but I would really like to see an emphasis on his aerial game, and him overall just being quick and unpredictable. Maybe giving his moves more end lag and no startup lag would fit this better but Idk. Feel free to critique/make fun of me.

Give him a larger normal shield than the biggest lightshield in the game (does that belong to Bowser? Marth? DK?).
Because he was so burned by the lack of a shield in regular Melee, overdo it with how we fix it.
