Maybe make it like PM's where you have to hold towards the ledge to grab it, otherwise you're left helpless?

Don't do that, please. It's funny when people do it and I and some other players use falling off platforms with side b and holding back as swag ledge cancelling maneuvers. Also you can't side b off Randall to grab the ledge on Yoshi's story. I understand catering to a more casual crowd, but not this much. So we should keep this feature in because swag and it's funny If it doesn't leave people helpless, why is it a problem? And it could just autosweetspot the ledge if this occurs [making it a super fast way to grab ledge]. Then the only problem would be aiming at someone on the ledge, missing them, and them still occupying the ledge while you die... if it leaves you helpless. Also, walljump cancel [yeah it's straight out of Minus but it's cool], and for the angle, I'm not positive, but if an angle of 270 degrees is straight down, could the angle 270+360=630 be coded in to send them straight down, but also not trip the meteor cancel window [Falcon wouldn't need this, but Ganondorf could have it...]? This of course might not work, but it's an idea, since if the game can read angles past 361, if the meteor cancel window doesn't check [range + 360x, x an integer], we could put turn any meteor into a spike by adding 360 without changing the in-game angle as it appears to players.

Angle wouldn't work as 630 in Melee values are 13B0, or 1 0011 1011 0, which happen to overlap with the hitbox position.
